Telangana BJP reviews alleged misuse of funds

Metro India News | Hyderabad : Telangana BJP Co-Incharge Abhay Patil conducted a review meeting on the alleged misuse of funds during the municipal elections and warned that strict action would be taken against those found involved in financial irregularities. Patil made it clear that those responsible for the illegal use of funds would face stringent action. He also warned that criminal cases could be registered if necessary. During the meeting, Patil questioned the performance of the party’s district presidents.

He asked how party activities could be effectively carried out at the grassroots level when all but three district presidents were reportedly staying at the party’s Hyderabad headquarters. Patil further stated that the practice of managing affairs to secure party positions would no longer be tolerated. He said the party leadership would directly monitor the tours and activities of its leaders going forward. The review meeting focused on strengthening organizational functioning, ensuring accountability and improving the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
