The Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium in Vijayawada came alive with music enthralling the audience for a night to remember on Saturday. The NTR Memorial Trust organized Euphoria Musical Night concert to raise funds for thalassemia patients. The revenue generated through ticket sales will be used to support patients suffering from thalassemia, said Managing trustee of NTR Memorial Trust, Nara Bhuvaneswari. Music director Thaman readily accepted their invitation to perform for the cause free of charge.

NTR Trust has been serving the poor for the last 28 years. Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder in which patients suffer from shortage of hemoglobin. In particular, those with acute thalassemia require blood transfusions every two to four months. Over 50 musicians and top singers will be performing at the 3.5-hour-long show. The NTR Memorial Trust, established on February 15, 1997 by Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and guided by Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari, strives to fulfil NTR's ideals of "Human Service is Divine Service".
