State government to provide skill training to rural youth: SEEDAP Chairman

Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) Chairman Gunapati Deepak Reddy said in a statement on Monday that the state government will provide skill training to the rural unemployed youth in a big way under the aegis of SEEDAP and provide them job opportunities. The training is being imparted under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana scheme. 

He appealed that rural unemployed youth in the age group of 18 to 35 years should take advantage of this opportunity. During the training period, they will be provided free meals along with accommodation, uniform and course material. The SEEDAP Chairman said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is working towards creating 20 lakh job opportunities for the youth of the state and as part of this, SEEDAP will also play its part. 

He stated that on the one hand, thousands of jobs are being created through District Selection Committee(DSC) and on the other hand, lakhs of jobs are being created after skill training through SEEDAP. He informed that SEEDAP  has entered into agreements with many companies. “After the training, they will be able to get jobs in the respective companies. We want the youth of the state to take advantage of these opportunities and get employment opportunities," he said.
