Minister for BC, EWS Welfare, Handloom and Textiles S Savita said on Monday that free DSC coaching will be provided online across the state under the aegis of BC Study Circle from the 24th of this month. She said that the government has already received applications from candidates.
Speaking to media, Minister Savita said that the education system has been maintained responsibly under the TDP government. The minister recalled that when Chandrababu Naidu took over as chief minister, he had signed the first file to fill up 16,347 teacher posts and thus he fulfilled the promise made to the unemployed before the last elections.
She informed that while Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) has already been conducted, the DSC will be conducted by Next June and appointment orders will also be issued to the selected candidates. Minister Savita said that the TDP governments are giving top priority to the development of the education system and recollected how the credit for filling up 1.80 lakh teacher posts goes to various TDP governments.
She also informed that already free DSC coaching centres were organized in all the 26 district headquarters through BC study circles. Through these centres, she mentioned, 5,200 people have been provided free DSC training, a stipend of Rs 1,500 per month during coaching and an additional Rs 1,000 for materials.
