Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals launches AF Center of Excellence

Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals has launched a dedicated Atrial Fibrillation (AF) Center of Excellence, bringing together advanced technology, international expertise and comprehensive cardiac care under one roof for the treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders.

The center's launch comes after the hospital introduced Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) technology in India and successfully treated patients using advanced 3D mapping-guided electrophysiology procedures. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm disorders.

The facility will offer advanced electrophysiology services, precision-guided interventions, minimally invasive AF surgeries and lifestyle-based programs designed to address contributing health conditions. The center will function through a multidisciplinary team approach focused on improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

The announcement was made in the presence of Prof. Dr. V.S. Ramchandra, Chairman of Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals, along with renowned electrophysiologist Dr. Dhanunjaya Lakkireddy, President of the Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute, USA, and other members of the hospital’s cardiac sciences team.

A key highlight of the event was the interaction with patients who recently underwent the country’s first CARTO-guided PFA treatment for atrial fibrillation. Sharing their recovery experiences, the patients said the procedure significantly improved their quality of life and enabled them to return to normal daily activities, underscoring the potential of advanced electrophysiology technologies in cardiac care.
