SP conducts surprise inspection at Maripeda PS, reviews case progress

Mahabubabad District Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Shabarish conducted a surprise inspection of the Maripeda Police Station on Wednesday to review its functioning, case management and overall administrative standards. During the inspection, the SP thoroughly examined station records, case diaries, pending cases, the progress of ongoing investigations, station administration, various office sections, infrastructure and cleanliness. He also reviewed pending files and ongoing investigations with the Maripeda Sub-Inspector, assessing the preparation, quality and timeliness of investigation reports.

Dr. Shabarish directed officers to ensure that every investigation strictly adheres to legal procedures while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy. Later, the SP held a meeting with police personnel to review their performance and responsibilities. He interacted separately with Village Police Officers, advising them to maintain continuous engagement with local communities. He emphasized the importance of preventing crime, maintaining law and order, raising public awareness about cybercrime and regularly gathering intelligence on suspicious individuals and unlawful activities to assist the police in timely action.

Dr. Shabarish instructed officers to treat every complainant visiting the police station with courtesy and respect. He directed that all complaints be registered promptly and appropriate legal action be initiated without delay, stressing that ensuring justice for victims remains the primary responsibility of the police. He further instructed officers to remain vigilant against cybercrime, crimes against women, drug trafficking and activities that threaten public peace and security. The SP urged personnel to adopt proactive measures to prevent crime and strengthen law enforcement efforts across the district.
