Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) is operating 366 special trains in January to handle the Sankranti festival rush. These trains will run between various destinations, including popular spots like Narsapur, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Machilipatnam, Tirupati, Berhampur, Jaipur, Gorakhpur, Cuttack, Madurai, and Arsikere. Additional coaches have been attached to 15 trains, and the Vande Bharat Express services have been enhanced with more coaches.

Special measures include additional ticket counters, ATVM facilitators, monitoring cells, and officers at major stations to manage the rush. Frequent announcements and enquiry-cum-facilitation counters will guide passengers about the special trains and available services.
