Doctors stress need for immunization across age groups

Vaccination is not just for children and adults too need timely immunization based on their age, health conditions and risk factors, doctors said at the launch of a dedicated Adult Vaccination Clinic at Medicover Hospitals, Hi-tech City. The dedicated clinic has been launched with an aim to strengthen preventive healthcare and address the growing gap in adult immunization. The clinic will provide expert consultation and vaccination services for adults based on their individual health profile.

Dr. A.R. Raghukanth, Pulmonologist, Medicover Hospitals, said that respiratory infections can pose a serious health threat to elderly people and those with existing medical conditions.
