SCR & NDRF teams conduct mock drill at Bolarum

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway along with a team comprising of 25 personnel from Regional Response Centre (RRC) Hyderabad; 10th Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) under the command of Dhamodar Singh, Dy. Commandant/NDRF; HYDRAA team comprising of 08 personnel; fire brigade team comprising of 11 personnel  along with Railway ART (Accident Relief Train), SPARMV (Self Propelled Accident Relief Medical Van) teams carried out a joint mock drill exercise on train accident at Bolarum Railway station on Wednesday, 18th March, 2026 between 09.50 hours to 12:30 hours.

The objective of the Mock drill was also to test the use of various equipment procured for use during disasters and undertake hands-on experience with tools like cold cutting equipment such as combi tool & cutter to cut the window rods and window frame of the side coach body.
