Revanth to take stock of Kodangal projects

They say charity begins at home, and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is leaving little to chance in ensuring that his Assembly constituency of Kodangal emerges as a model of development during his tenure. Like former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, who prioritised the development of Gajwel, and the late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who transformed Pulivendula during his tenure in the combined state, Revanth Reddy has initiated a series of development projects in Kodangal after assuming office as Chief Minister.

In a move aimed at accelerating the pace of these initiatives, the Chief Minister will undertake a two day visit to Kodangal beginning Tuesday to personally review the progress of ongoing works and resolve any hurdles affecting their execution.

The visit assumes significance as the Congress government has completed nearly half of its five year term. With about two and a half years of governance remaining before the administration gradually shifts into election mode, the Chief Minister is keen on ensuring that key projects are completed on schedule and that implementation gathers momentum. Revanth Reddy will begin his visit at 4 pm on Tuesday with an inspection of the Education Hub being developed at Hakimpet village in Dudyal mandal, one of the flagship initiatives planned for the constituency. At 5 pm, he will chair a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials and district authorities to assess the status of all development works in Kodangal, identify bottlenecks, and issue directions for their early completion.

The Chief Minister will stay overnight in Kodangal. On the second day, he will hold a review meeting at 10 am with local leaders and Booth Level Agents to discuss the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. After completing the scheduled engagements, Revanth Reddy will return to Hyderabad.
