Radhashtami celebrated grandly at Hare Krishna Golden Temple

Metro India News | Hyderabad : Sri Radhashtami, the divine appearance day of Srimati Radharani, was celebrated with devotion and grandeur at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills. Scores of devotees from across the city attended the celebrations and sought the blessings of Sri Radha Govinda. The deities were beautifully adorned in new garments and exquisite jewellery, offering devotees a special darshan.

The temple was decorated with colorful flowers, creating a festive atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the auspicious 108 Kalasha Sri Radha Govinda Abhishekam, performed amid Vedic chants and Harinama sankirtana. Panchamrita, panchagavya, fruit juices, herbal powders, flowers and special offerings were presented during the ceremony.

A special pravachan by His Grace Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji highlighted the spiritual significance of Radhashtami and the importance of seeking Radharani’s blessings for Krishna-bhakti. The celebrations also featured Chappan Bhog, various sevas, aratis and devotional programs, followed by prasadam for all attendees.
