Metro India News | Hyderabad : Manchirevula Forest Park, located near the Outer Ring Road in the Rajendranagar constituency, is facing serious maintenance issues, leaving morning walkers concerned about their safety. Around 500–600 people visit the park daily, but overgrown vegetation, stray dogs and a lack of basic amenities have triggered complaints against the Forest Department.  Packs of stray dogs also threaten visitors and pose a risk to deer and other wildlife.

More than 2,000 people reportedly visit the park on weekends. Visitors have questioned the high entry fees despite poor facilities. Annual charges are Rs 2,800 for individuals, Rs 4,000 for couples and Rs 1,800 for senior citizens, while daily entry costs Rs 50. They have demanded clean drinking water, better sanitation, lighting and immediate removal of weeds and stray dogs. Forest Range Officer Laxman assured visitors that the overgrown vegetation would be cleared soon and safety measures improved.
