Pharma veteran AVPS Chakravarthi bags ‘Asia Business Leader’ honor

Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical industry veteran Chakravarthi AVPS, Chairman and Managing Director of Ecobliss India Private Limited, has received the prestigious CMO Asia Business Leadership & Excellence Award under the ‘Asia Business Leader of the Year – Indian Pharma’ category. The award was presented at Pan Pacific Singapore on Tuesday, recognizing his contribution to patient-focused healthcare globally. The honor acknowledged Chakravarthi's efforts in promoting Indian pharmaceutical excellence, encouraging responsible pharmaceutical packaging, strengthening international collaborations and advocating patient-centric healthcare.

He shared the stage with business leaders including Dr. Anne Phey, Rohit Gandhi, Munas van Boonstra, Charu Sethi and Dr. Tarita Shankar.Accepting the award, Chakravarthi dedicated the recognition to India's pharmaceutical ecosystem, saying the country has evolved beyond being the "pharmacy of the world" to becoming a trusted healthcare partner. He stressed that patient-friendly packaging improves medicine adherence and called for stronger collaboration among governments, industry and academia to drive innovation.
