The Jana Sena Party will celebrate its 13th foundation day this year among tribal communities in the agency areas of Andhra Pradesh, with party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan set to participate in the programme in Nandigaru village of the Paderu Assembly constituency.

According to party sources, Pawan Kalyan decided to hold the foundation day celebrations in tribal regions to highlight the concerns and development needs of indigenous communities. Responding to his call, party cadres are expected to organise celebrations at the grassroots level across the state, while the Deputy Chief Minister himself will participate in the event scheduled in the tribal village on Saturday.

As part of the programme, Pawan Kalyan will first hoist the party flag at Onuru Junction to mark the occasion. He will then inspect roads constructed in the agency area under central and state government schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan and the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.

Officials said the Deputy Chief Minister will walk along the 2.4-kilometre road built between Onuru Junction and Nandigaru village under the PM-JANMAN scheme to review the quality of the construction. During the inspection, he will interact with tribal residents and examine the progress of development works in the region.

Following the inspection, Pawan Kalyan will formally inaugurate roads completed under the “Adavi Thalli Bata” initiative, which focuses on improving connectivity in remote tribal areas. Improved road infrastructure in such regions is expected to facilitate better access to markets, healthcare and educational facilities for tribal communities.

The programme will also include a “Maata-Manthi” interaction session with residents of Nandigaru village, where the Deputy Chief Minister will listen to their concerns and discuss development issues affecting the tribal population. In a gesture of solidarity, Pawan Kalyan will also share a midday meal with tribal villagers, highlighting the party’s commitment to engaging directly with communities in remote areas.

Party leaders said the decision to hold the foundation day celebrations among tribal communities reflects the Jana Sena Party’s emphasis on inclusive development and its effort to strengthen its connection with people in rural and tribal regions of the state.
