In a significant step towards expanding its philanthropic activities, the NTR Memorial Trust has initiated the construction of the NTR Trust Bhavan in Vijayawada. The foundation stone for the new building was laid by the Managing Trustee of the NTR Memorial Trust, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, on Thursday morning. The ceremony took place at the proposed site in Sai Baba Temple Street, Teachers’ Colony, where a 600-square-yard plot has been allocated for the project.
Addressing the gathering, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, emphasized the unwavering commitment of the trust to serve society. She stated that for the past 25 years, the NTR Trust has been dedicated to humanitarian service, focusing on healthcare, education, and emergency relief. “Our goal is to fulfill every promise we make to the public and ensure our services reach those in need,” she affirmed.
The upcoming NTR Trust Bhavan will house various welfare initiatives, including a Thalassemia Care Center and a Blood Bank. The state-of-the-art facility, planned as a five-story building, will cater to individuals requiring urgent medical assistance. Bhuvaneshwari reiterated that the trust is committed to making emergency healthcare services available round the clock. “We invite people who believe in philanthropy to join hands with us. The trust is always ready to serve society and ensure that no individual is deprived of medical support due to a lack of resources,” she stated.
The NTR Memorial Trust has been a beacon of hope for thousands, offering critical medical aid, education for underprivileged students, and skill training for unemployed youth and women. “We have been relentlessly serving people for over two decades. Our initiatives, which began in Hyderabad under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, have expanded to various regions, and now Vijayawada will be a key center for our operations,” Bhuvaneshwari remarked.
