Union Minister Kishan Reddy on Friday said there was no change in the Telangana administration even after the change of the rulers. He appealed that in the upcoming legislative council elections, the intellectuals should ensure victory of the BJP candidates.
In Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana, due to the corrupt and inefficient policies of the Congress governments, they are not able to pay even their employees’ salaries, he alleged. He said the BRS and Congress governments had turned Telangana into a debt-ridden State.
Speaking at a meet-and-greet with teachers in Medak on Friday morning as part of the MLC election campaign, he slammed the policies of the BRS and the Congress and alleged that it came to power by fooling intellectuals, teachers, the unemployed, farmers, farm labourers, women and the people, and failed to implement its promises.
“Promises like unemployment allowance of Rs 4,000 for the unemployed, Rs 2,500 for women and Rs 12 lakh to the Dalit families are not implemented by the State government. Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi had promised to provide jobs to the unemployed, but now they are not even meeting them. It has been proved that all the promises made and given during the election campaign are fraudulent and there is nothing but fiery speeches by the Congress leaders," he said.
"The BRS had turned the State with a surplus budget into a pile of debts and in the same direction, the Congress will continue to rule with fraudulent promises,” he claimed. He said the change had come only in the families of KCR, Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi. Predicting that the people's verdict will be in favour of the BJP, he appealed to the educated, teachers and intellectuals to play a key role in this change and ensure the win of the BJP in the MLC elections.
