IT, Education and Electronocs Minister Nara Lokesh strongly criticized opposition leaders for what he described as misinformation campaigns against the government. Addressing allegations related to voter registration, he said the government's objective is to ensure a transparent and error-free electoral process. He rejected accusations of voter manipulation and asserted that political opponents were making claims without understanding technological systems and data management.

Responding to criticism over teacher recruitment and reservation policies, Lokesh defended the government's handling of the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process. He said the government had conducted the recruitment exercise transparently and in accordance with constitutional provisions related to horizontal and vertical reservations.

Lokesh claimed that the government had filled 16,000 teacher posts within 150 days and announced that additional Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examinations and DSC notifications would be issued in the future to recruit more teachers. He accused opposition leaders of spreading misinformation regarding recruitment procedures and reservation implementation. The minister also challenged critics to a public debate on the issue, stating that the government was prepared to explain every aspect of the recruitment process and reservation policy.

Speaking about the government's performance over the past two years, Lokesh said several welfare and development schemes have been implemented on a scale unmatched elsewhere in the country. He highlighted enhanced pensions of Rs 4,000 for senior citizens and Rs 6,000 for persons with disabilities, free distribution of three LPG cylinders annually, free bus travel for women, and financial assistance under the "Talliki Vandanam" scheme regardless of the number of children in a family.
