St. Peter’s Engineering College industry hack 2026 a huge hit

170 Teams, 55 Colleges, 5 States participate

St. Peter’s Engineering College, Hyderabad, concluded its national-level Industry Hack 2026, bringing together 170 teams from 55 colleges across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Organised by the SPEC Innovation & Incubation Center on August 22 and 23, the 24-hour hackathon was held under the theme, “Industry Challenges, Innovation Solutions, Incredible Impact.” Participants worked through the day and night to develop ideas, code prototypes and find solutions to real-world industry problems.

The event featured Chief Guests Bala Prasad Peddigari, Chief Innovation Officer, Technology, Software & Services Business Group, TCS, and Lalit Sharma, Director – Strategic Relations, Proarch. They interacted with participants and shared insights on technology, innovation and career opportunities.

Seven winning teams shared a cash prize pool of ₹1 lakh and USD 4,000 worth of API credits to support further development of their projects. Nine participants also received paid internship offers from collaborating companies.

The hackathon was backed by Spectrum Circle & Unity Circle, RiviQ Germany, International Startup Foundation, Perfect Corp. & YouCam API, Kodryx AI, Cliqin Health, iRobotix Technologies, HackBoats, GrowAthlete, Kaynos Technologies, Infinitron AI, IMS MANYA and Skyde Solutions. T-Hub and T-Works provided startup support, expert sessions and mentorship.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Chairman Sri. T. Bala Reddy, Secretary Sri. T. V. Reddy, Directors Smt. T. Saroja Reddy and Sri. T. Anuraag Reddy, Principal Dr. K. Venkata Rao, Dean–IIC and HOD–CSE and Convener Dr. Gowtham Mamidisetti, and IIC Lead Coordinator Dr. K Rajiv.
