22 A list: ‘Don't be fooled by brokers on Bhu Bharati lands’

District Additional Collector (Revenue) Chandra Reddy advised people to be vigilant regarding lands in the 22-A list and lands related to Bhu Bharati records in Rangareddy district.

He said that there are reports that some middlemen and brokers are collecting money from the people by claiming that they will correct land records, remove lands from the 22-A list, and provide land rights through Bhu Bharati. He clarified that the people should not be fooled by believing the words of such people.

Before purchasing land or carrying out any land-related transaction, it is advised to contact the relevant revenue officials and officially confirm the survey number, land status, details in Schedule 22-A, Bhu Bharati records, and other legal aspects.

The Additional Collector warned against paying any money to middlemen and brokers who claim to provide work in government offices. He advised that if there are any issues or doubts related to lands, one should contact the relevant Tahsildar's office or official revenue offices to get details and clarification.
