Jayashankar Bhupalpally District Collector Rahul Sharma urged unemployed youth to make effective use of job fairs to secure employment and livelihood opportunities.
As part of the State government’s prestigious Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika 99-day programme, a mega job mela was organised for the undivided Warangal district at the IDOC office conference hall on Saturday. During the event, the Collector distributed appointment letters to young men and women who secured jobs through the recruitment drive.
Later, mementoes were presented to school students who excelled in sports competitions conducted under the Praja Palana programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that 43 youths from the district had received employment opportunities through the job mela. He stated that the CM Cup sports competitions were playing a vital role in identifying and encouraging sporting talent among students and youth. He expressed happiness over the outstanding performance of students in the competitions and hoped that today’s students would grow into tomorrow’s sportspersons, bringing recognition to both the district and the State.
The Collector also appreciated athletes and officials who participated in the Clean Day programme organised by the Tourism Department by cleaning the surroundings of Kotagullu. Archaeology Director Bujji, security staff member Raju, and senior ball badminton player Ravinder were among those felicitated. District Youth and Sports Officer Raghu, staff member Sagar, youth, and students participated in the programme.
