Inter-collegiate commerce fest ‘Prerana’ organised at IIMC College

The Telangana Commerce Association organized an inter-collegiate commerce fest “Prerana” on April 6 at IIMC College. Speaking as the Chief Guest at the inaugural session, Telangana Commerce Association President Professor Chennappa recalled that that the “Prerana” fest was started in 2003 with the aim of creating awareness among approximately 16,000 commerce students across the state through co-curricular activities.

Guest of honor Professor Venkata Reddy from IPE stated that such events help bring out the hidden talents of students, enhance their understanding of commerce subjects, and build mental confidence. IIMC College Principal Kura Raghuveer encouraged students to make the best use of these opportunities to showcase their talent. As part of the fest, nine events related to commerce were conducted.

From each category, the top two teams were selected to participate in the inter-university Prerana competition to be held the next day at Avinash College. At the valedictory session, Principal Kura Raghuveer distributed certificates of appreciation to the students.
