IRS (Retd.) officer Deepak Pandit has been nominated as the Indian Cricketers’ Association (ICA) representative on the Governing Council of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for the 2026–27 term. The nomination, effective January 9, 2026, recognises his combined experience in professional cricket and public administration.

As ICA’s representative, Pandit will take part in policy decisions and serve as a link between players and the MCA, addressing issues such as contracts, playing conditions, welfare schemes and grievance redressal mechanisms.

Before joining the Indian Revenue Service, Pandit played as a fast bowler for the Jammu & Kashmir Ranji Trophy team and later captained the side. He earned recognition for his swing bowling and achieved the rare feat of claiming all ten wickets in a single innings in the Kanga League.
