Hitachi energy impresses in Q3, PAT surges by 90.3%

Hitachi Energy India Limited has reported a strong set of financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, driving a significant surge in its stock price on February 6, 2026. The company's shares jumped as much as 14% intraday, reaching highs around Rs 21,889 on the NSE, following the announcement of robust revenue growth, sharply higher profits, and sustained margin expansion. 

In the October-December 2025 quarter (Q3 FY26), Hitachi Energy India achieved revenue from operations of approximately Rs 2,168 crore, marking a year-on-year increase of about 29.6%. This growth was fueled by strong demand in key markets, including India, expanded market share, and effective execution of a substantial order backlog. Net profit after tax surged 90.3% to Rs 261.4 crore from Rs 137 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting improved operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. 

The company's operational EBITDA reached Rs 338.4 crore, more than doubling from the previous year and delivering an operational EBITDA margin of 15.6%—a notable expansion from around 10% in the prior comparable quarter.
