District Collector Kumar Deepak stated that the government is actively implementing welfare and development schemes and resolving public grievances through special grama sabhas, division sabhas and that ward sabhas being organized as part of the 99-day action plan under the ‘Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika’.
The Collector participated in the Division Sabha held on Monday at Lakshmi Gardens for Divisions 31 and 32 of Mancherial Municipal Corporation. He was accompanied by DCP Eggadi Bhaskar, Additional Collector (Local Bodies) P. Chandrayya, Municipal Commissioner Anvesh, Mayor Dharni Madhukar and Corporator Sampath Reddy.
Addressing the gathering, Collector Kumar Deepak said that these special meetings will focus on creating awareness among people on key programs including sanitation, special summary revision of electoral rolls, ‘Arrive-Alive’ road safety initiative, Indiramma Houses, and other government schemes. The Collector directed officials to conduct the special summary revision of electoral rolls in a systematic manner. Booth-level officers and agents should visit every household to distribute and collect enumeration forms.
He emphasized the need for field-level verification and speedy resolution of issues relating to deceased, duplicate, and shifted voters, along with proper voter mapping. He added that the police department will implement the ‘Arrive-Alive’ programme to ensure strict compliance with traffic rules. The government is also taking steps to strengthen the education system, improve healthcare, protect women, and effectively implement welfare schemes. He urged people to bring any grievances to the notice of Mandal Parishad Development Officers or Mandal Tahsildars, assuring that the administration would resolve them through coordinated efforts.
