Government Whip and Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy stated that the welfare of the poor is the primary objective of the people’s government. At a program held at Annapurna Gardens, he distributed house ownership documents to 310 beneficiaries of double-bedroom houses from the Christianpally and Adarsh Nagar areas of Mahabubnagar town, along with District Collector Khushbu Gupta. He expressed happiness that, despite several complications relating to Survey No. 523, the issues had been resolved one by one, enabling 310 families to receive legal ownership rights to their houses.
He added that immediate steps would be taken to provide facilities such as an Anganwadi centre and a primary school if they were not already available. To protect city residents from health problems caused by sewage-related issues, an underground sewerage system worth Rs 603 crore had been introduced, he said. He stated that, with the support of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, efforts were underway to develop Mahabubnagar into a model city. On the occasion, he extended Bathukamma and Dasara festival greetings to the people.
