Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao on Tuesday called upon party leaders and workers to work with unity and discipline to ensure victory in the upcoming local body elections, declaring that winning the GHMC Mayor's post is the party's foremost objective.

Addressing the Ranga Reddy Urban District Executive meeting at One Convention in Bairamalguda, Ramchander Rao said the district executive meetings are not merely organisational reviews but important platforms to discuss political strategies, strengthen the party structure, and prepare the cadre for the upcoming electoral battles.

Expressing confidence in the BJP's prospects, he said the people of Telangana have become disillusioned with the governance of both the Congress and BRS and are increasingly looking at the BJP as a credible alternative.

He noted that the party enjoys a strong organisational network and growing public support in Ranga Reddy district, creating favourable conditions for victory.

The BJP chief urged leaders and workers to draw inspiration from the party's past successes and strive for outstanding results across Hyderabad to secure the GHMC Mayor's post. Stressing that unity is the party's greatest strength, he said internal differences are natural in any political organisation but should never come before the larger interests of the party. Every worker, he said, must remain committed to ensuring the victory of the BJP candidate, irrespective of who receives the party ticket.

Ramchander Rao assured the cadre that elections to ZPTCs and MPTCs would follow the municipal polls, providing opportunities for aspiring leaders in the future. He directed party workers to intensify movements from the booth and mandal levels against what he described as the Congress government's anti people policies and corruption. He also instructed them to identify local issues across the district and conduct sustained public campaigns in coordination with the state leadership.

Highlighting the ongoing Special Intensive Revision process, he asked every leader and worker to actively work with Booth Level Agents by visiting every household, verifying electoral rolls, enrolling eligible new voters, and strengthening the party's connection with local communities. He said a strong grassroots organisation combined with effective voter outreach would be the key to the BJP's success in the forthcoming elections.
