Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated that the battle for the future of India would be based on an ideological showdown between the "sacrificing" Gandhi Parivar and the "divisive" Sangh Parivar. Speaking after receiving an award named in memory of Aryadan Muhammed in Kerala, he highlighted that former Prime Ministers of India, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, sacrificed their lives for the country. He added that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi sacrificed power and positions by choosing not to take the post of Prime Minister.

He expressed optimism, stating that a new breeze—a new wind—is blowing in 2026 as Congress prepares to win in Kerala again. He noted that this political breeze is growing into a storm and called on everyone to stand with Rahul Gandhi to take this political tsunami to every home, street, village, city, and state across India. He urged people to stand behind Rahul Gandhi to protect the country from communal forces, emphasizing that the winds of change are blowing and the echo (goonj) of Rahul Gandhi's words of hope is being heard across India.

Drawing a political parallel to weather patterns, he noted that meteorologists look to Kerala each year because the monsoon begins there, allowing one to predict rainfall across Telangana, Karnataka, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and New Delhi. Historically, whenever Kerala elected a Congress government, the party also came to power at the Centre. For instance, in 1991, when K. Karunakaran was the Chief Minister of Kerala, P. V. Narasimha Rao became Prime Minister.

Conversely, when Kerala elected the Communists in 1996, Congress lost power in New Delhi. Similarly, after A. K. Antony became Chief Minister in 2001, Congress returned to power at the Centre in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections. In contrast, during Pinarayi Vijayan's tenure in Kerala, Narendra Modi served as Prime Minister.

Declaring that history is calling, he emphasized that Rahul Gandhi must become the next Prime Minister to safeguard India from communal forces that are undermining democratic institutions—stealing votes, parties, symbols, funds, and the future of the youth. Calling Kerala a bellwether state, he credited its voters for electing Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to Parliament and expressed gratitude for the state's unwavering commitment to secularism and the Congress party.

Reflecting on his personal political journey, Revanth Reddy shared that he has no personal political ambitions left, having risen from the grassroots in 2006 to serve as a ZPTC, MLC, MLA, MP, PCC President, and Chief Minister over two decades. His sole remaining goal, he stated, is to see Rahul Gandhi become the Prime Minister leading a Congress government in New Delhi.

He expressed gratitude to the jury and senior leader K. C. Venugopal for presenting him with the Aryadan Muhammed Best Public Servant Award, noting it as a distinct privilege to be the first recipient from outside Kerala. Paying tribute to the late veteran leader, he described Aryadan Muhammed—who served as an MLA eight times and a minister four times—as a pillar of strength for the party and a "Chanakya" of Kerala politics who dedicated over five decades to protecting freedom, democracy, secularism, and the Constitution. Revanth Reddy concluded that the truest tribute to Aryadan Muhammed's legacy is to continue fighting strongly to safeguard India.
