Fusion-2026 Highlights AI, Quantum and Cybersecurity Risks

Hyderabad: Dr. M. Ramesh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, called for greater vigilance against emerging cyber threats linked to Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing. Speaking at Fusion-2026, the Annual Conference of the ISACA Hyderabad Chapter, Dr. Ramesh emphasized the importance of data protection, cybersecurity awareness and coordinated efforts to combat digital and financial crimes.He cautioned the public about deepfakes, digital surveillance and OTP-related fraud, while stressing the need for responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

The conference, held as part of the 26th anniversary celebrations of ISACA Hyderabad Chapter, brought together cybersecurity, audit, risk and technology professionals.Key discussions covered AI risk, quantum-era cybersecurity, quantum security, the DPDP Act and emerging technology risks. A CXO Roundtable also examined future challenges and opportunities in the technology landscape.SIG Award winners, former chapter presidents, sponsors and volunteers were felicitated during the event.
