Former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu lauded Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE), stating that the institution has developed into a “Saraswati Nilayam” — a centre of learning and knowledge. He was the Chief Guest at the Pratibha Puraskarala Mahotsavam–2026 held on Saturday at Dr. NTR Kalamandiram of Suravaram Pratapa Reddy Telugu University in Nampally. On the occasion, JPNCE Chairman K.S. Ravi Kumar presented Venkaiah Naidu with a special diary published to mark the completion of 30 years of the college.
Venkaiah Naidu said that JPNCE has earned recognition as a reputed UGC autonomous institution adhering to high standards of higher education in accordance with national standards. He appreciated the institution for its dedicated efforts over the past three decades in establishing itself as a prestigious centre of higher education by providing quality technical education, excellent teaching, outstanding academic results and high-level campus placement opportunities. Mahabubnagar District Red Cross Society Chairman and JPNCE Chairman K.S. Ravi Kumar, along with poet Kotla Venkateshwara Reddy of Mahabubnagar and others, participated in the program.
