Senior revenue officials have directed district authorities to conduct field-level inspections of land-related grievances, including applications filed under the Bhu Bharati initiative and Sada Bainama provisions, and ensure their prompt resolution. Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) and Principal Secretary (Revenue) Lokesh Kumar issued the instructions during a review meeting held on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner of Land Survey, Settlements and Land Records Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, District Collector Sneha Shabarish and officials from the Revenue, Land Survey, Bhu Bharati and other concerned department. The review focused on the land dispute in Narayanapur village of Kesamudram mandal, pending Sada Bainama and Bhu Bharati applications across the district, revenue conferences, the Naksha survey project, and other land administration issues.
Addressing the officials, Lokesh Kumar said the Telangana government is implementing the Bhu Bharati and Sada Bainama laws as prestigious initiatives aimed at resolving land-related problems faced by genuine and eligible farmers. He stressed the need for comprehensive field surveys and coordinated efforts among revenue, land survey and other departments to ensure effective implementation of the schemes.
The CCLA Commissioner also instructed officials to immediately clear pending applications related to Bhu Bharati and Sada Bainama that were received during earlier revenue conferences. He called for the appointment of special village-level administrative officers to collect and verify accurate information required for processing the applications. District Collector Sneha Shabarish informed the meeting that a special cell has been established in the district to address land disputes.
She said a dedicated team at the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) level has been assigned to examine survey records and related issues concerning Narayanapur village, with the objective of identifying eligible beneficiaries and resolving the dispute at the earliest. She added that officials are personally supervising the Naksha survey project on the ground to ensure that the work is completed within the prescribed deadline without any delays.
