Republic Day celebrations were held at Kartavyapath in the national capital Delhi On this occasion, the tableaus  of several states were displayed. Among them, the Etikoppaka dolls from Andhra Pradesh stood out as a special attraction. Dolls made using special skill with ordinary stick have gained popularity in the country and abroad.

These dolls, which have a rich history, have impressed even the Prime Minister Modi. The tableau focused on a 400-year-old craft tradition celebrated for its eco-friendly, smooth, vibrant, and toxin-free toys.

AP CM Chandrababu was happy that the Etikoppaka dolls were a special attraction and congratulated everyone behind it. He tweeted on Social Media platform X in this regard saying "At the 76th Republic Day celebrations, the era of our world famous etikoppaka dolls impressed all the celebrities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Our etikoppaka dolls made with eco-friendly and natural resources are synonymous with the creativity of Andhra Pradesh artists. Our dolls are a special attraction in the series of tableaus that took place at Kartavyapath in Delhi. I sincerely congratulate all those responsible for this.”
