Escorts Kubota launched 'South Special' rice tractor

Mumbai: Escorts Kubota Limited, a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery and construction equipment, has announced the launch of a new 'South Special' paddy tractor series named Power Track Shaurya. The series is available in five different variants in the 39 HP to 52 HP categories. This is the first-of-its-kind rice and maize special series specially designed for the rice growing regions of southern states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

This is the first time that a special range of this kind has been introduced by the Power Track brand. With this, the company is further strengthening its presence in the key farm mechanization segment.Escorts Kubota Company in India... The company sells tractors under three brands - Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac. These cater to the premium, entry-premium and value segments, respectively. Of these, the Powertrac brand represents the low-cost value and mass segment segments. Under this brand, the company is offering tractors that can be used for a variety of agricultural tasks.

These Shaurya series tractors, specially designed for paddy cultivation, are very effective in muddy and waterlogged fields. The key components have a cassette-type sealing to protect them from water or mud ingress during operation. Due to the low turning radius of just 3.1 m, they can be easily rotated even in small and medium-sized farms. The engine comes mated to a fully-constant mesh gearbox with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears.

The Sensei-1 hydraulic lift is capable of lifting loads ranging from 1600 to 2000 kg depending on the variant. Even state-of-the-art machines like the baler can be easily driven by the double clutch and independent PTO lever.
