Dy CM Bhatti hails Ambedkar’s legacy

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu paid rich tributes to Dr B. R. Ambedkar, describing him as the architect of the Indian Constitution whose vision ensured equality and rights for all citizens. He called upon party workers and office bearers to follow Ambedkar’s ideals and work toward social justice and inclusive development.

Speaking in Khammam, Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the Congress party played a historic role in securing India’s independence and laying the foundation for the nation’s development through progressive policies and planning. He said holding positions in a party with such a legacy is a matter of pride and responsibility.

He alleged that BRS leaders were spreading misinformation against the government to prevent benefits from reaching farmers, while asserting that Congress initiatives—such as farmer support schemes, housing programmes, and welfare measures—are transforming lives across the state.

Highlighting key schemes, he noted large-scale housing approvals, free rice distribution, financial support for women, and expanded education and infrastructure initiatives. He urged cadre to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and ensure Khammam remains a Congress stronghold.
