Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their second child. The actress confirmed the news on Sunday amid reports of her second pregnancy. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024.

Taking to Instagram, Deepika shared an adorable photo of daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test kit, confirming the happy news. Sharing the announcement in a joint post with Ranveer, the couple simply added nazar emojis in the caption.

Soon after the post was shared, several celebrities congratulated the couple in the comments section. Kiara Advani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Bhumi Pednekar, Sunil Grover, Parineeti Chopra were among the first to send love and wishes.

Amid the happy news, sources revealed that the actress will continue working during her pregnancy. According to an industry source, Deepika is currently shooting intense action sequences for Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka and will continue filming throughout her pregnancy.

The actress also has Siddharth Anand’s King in the pipeline, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on December 24, 2026. Apart from King, Deepika will also be seen in Raaka, which reportedly stars Allu Arjun.
