The Cyberabad Police, in partnership with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and sponsored by Score10, announced a Rs 1 lakh accidental insurance cover for 150 Traffic Marshals. The initiative aims to provide financial security to marshals and their families against unforeseen incidents while on duty.

Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Dr. M. Ramesh, IPS, highlighted that Traffic Marshals are key to managing city traffic and assisting commuters, often in high-risk road environments. He emphasized that the insurance, along with awareness programmes like “No Honking” and basic legal training, reinforces the city’s road safety efforts.

SCSC CEO Naved Khan said marshals perform their duties as a social service, taking pride in contributing to public safety. DCP Traffic-II, Ranjan Ratan Kumar, added that marshals work with the same efficiency as police personnel and deserve recognition for their dedication.

Score10 Chairman Narayana Swaroop noted that several marshals have saved lives in emergencies and endorsed the one-year Rs 1 lakh coverage to protect them during hospitalisation or accidents. The collaborative initiative strengthens community policing, provides structured employment, and ensures legal recognition, protection, and welfare for Traffic Marshals across Cyberabad.
