Metro India News | Hyderabad :

In a significant development in the sensational Moinabad farmhouse drugs case, a city court on Monday granted three-day police custody of former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy, his brother Ritesh Reddy, and Delhi-based businessman Namit Sharma.

The accused, currently lodged in Chanchalguda Jail under judicial remand, will be shifted to an undisclosed location for intensive interrogation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Police aim to unravel the larger drug network and identify suppliers.

The case dates back to March 14 this year, when the ‘Eagle Team’ raided Rohit Reddy’s farmhouse in Moinabad, recovering drugs and weapons. The incident escalated after Namit Sharma allegedly opened fire at police during the raid, triggering widespread outrage.

Officials believe the custodial interrogation could expose key links and masterminds behind the high-profile drug party.
