District Collector K. Haritha has instructed officials to personally inspect every petition received under the Praja Vaani program at the field level and ensure their quick resolution. The Praja Vaani program was held on Monday at the Integrated Collectorate Meeting Hall.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Haritha directed officials to clear all pending applications from the previous Praja Vaani within the stipulated time frame. She also ordered every government employee to complete their self-enumeration (household survey) by May 10 as part of the ongoing house enumeration drive.
Several grievances were received during the program, with major issues relating to road encroachments, disputes over patta lands, sanctions under Indiramma Housing scheme, changes in beneficiary lists and joint surveys. Further, Collector K. Haritha has urged unemployed youth in the district to make the best use of the upcoming Job Mela to be held on 6th of this month in Adilabad. Collector Haritha along with Additional Collectors Yuvaraj Marmat and M. David unveiled the posters of the Job Mela.
The Collector informed that the Job Mela will be organized at the Telangana Minority Gurukul in Adilabad district headquarters. She said reputed companies will participate and offer employment opportunities. She called upon a large number of youth from the district to attend the Job Mela and avail themselves of the job opportunities being provided.
