CM Chandrababu, Bhuvaneswari offer special prayers at Kuppam Gangamma Temple

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari on Wednesday visited the renowned Prasanna Tirupati Gangamma Temple in Kuppam and offered special prayers to the presiding deity.

The couple received a traditional welcome from temple priests with Purna Kumbham honours upon their arrival at the shrine. As part of the rituals, the Chief Minister and Bhuvaneswari offered silk garments and Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy prasadam to Goddess Gangamma and participated in special pujas conducted in accordance with temple traditions. Local public representatives and officials accompanied the couple during the visit.

Stopover for fresh palm fruit

In another moment that drew public attention, the Chief Minister’s convoy stopped along the roadside after noticing vendors selling fresh palm fruit. Chandrababu and Bhuvaneswari stepped out of their vehicle, purchased the seasonal fruit and interacted warmly with the vendor and his family. Sharing the experience on social media, Chandrababu wrote that the naturally grown palm fruit reflected the pure and simple hearts of Kuppam people, adding that eating them fresh by the roadside brought a sense of comfort and nostalgia.

The Chief Minister also enquired about the vendor’s livelihood, family welfare and business conditions. Photos and videos of the couple’s informal interaction with locals quickly went viral on social media, with many praising their simplicity and connection with ordinary people.
