Medicover Hospitals on Wednesday inaugurated its Centre of Excellence for Neuro Endoscopy at its Sangeet, Secunderabad unit, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of minimally invasive neurosurgical care in Telangana and the surrounding region. The Centre was inaugurated by Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, former Chairman of DRDO, former Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and former Scientific Adviser to the Raksha Mantri, in the presence of senior clinicians, healthcare leaders and distinguished guests.

Equipped with advanced neuro-endoscopic technology and supported by a multidisciplinary neurosciences team, the centre aims to deliver precise, minimally invasive treatment options that help reduce surgical trauma, shorten hospital stays, and enable faster recovery. A key strength of the Centre is the expertise of Dr. Ramesh Shigakolli, who has extensive experience in advanced neuro-endoscopic procedures across multiple neurosurgical domains.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ramesh Shigakolli said that with high-definition visualization and precision instruments, we can now reach deep-seated areas of the brain through smaller corridors, offering patients safer procedures, reduced discomfort, and improved recovery outcomes. Addressing the gathering, Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy noted that innovations in imaging, navigation, optics and precision technologies are rapidly transforming healthcare and enabling better outcomes for patients. He appreciated the institution's commitment to bringing cutting-edge medical technologies within reach of the community.
