Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today made it clear that there was no need to think about the rumours that some more BRS party MLAs would join the ruling Congress party and added that the BRS party MLAs, who joined the Congress party, were now repenting at  their decision. He said that the news of the merger of BRSLP into the congress party was just speculation. He was speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the party's stand in the GHMC standing committee elections would be finalised on the 17th of this month. He said that a decision had not yet been taken on the issue of no-confidence motion against the GHMC mayor. He said that the party had decided not to contest the MLC elections as part of their strategies.

He alleged that the Congress government had turned the caste census into a conspiracy and added that it was because of this reason all the BC associations, including his party, were demanding a re-survey. He said that the survey in villages and towns was not done properly and the population of 60 lakh was underestimated while notin that according to the electoral voters' list, the caste census figures were found to be wrong.
