Bollywood stars marked International Yoga Day 2026 by participating in yoga sessions across Mumbai, New Delhi and Gurugram
“I think it’s a very good initiative. After experiencing it myself, I can say it has had a strong impact. Today, life is fast and stressful, and there are issues like anxiety and stress, so following a healthy lifestyle is essential. I feel yoga should be a part of our lives,” Sreeleela while participating in yoga session in Mumbai.
“I got introduced to yoga because it was prescribed to me. I suffered from spondylosis, so my physio told me to do these asanas. After that, I hired a yoga teacher. Then I did other asanas. When I got deeper into yoga, I realised that I saw a shift. It changed the way you see things and your perspective on life. It makes you more aware, and it’s a journey of self-discovery,” Shilpa Shetty while doing yoga at DLF Cyber Hub in Gurugram, Haryana.
“It’s a very good initiative, and a lot of kids have come. I think yoga is something that comes from our heritage, our culture. I have done yoga many times, and I feel that yoga is something which is mind, body and soul. There are very few things where you can align all three together. You can be a healthier version of yourself, you can be more flexible, and you can be stronger. Your internal organs can be healthier,” Shahid Kapoor while performing yoga at Worli Dome in Mumbai
