Hyderabad: As a part of Education and promotion on Wild species in nature , Bird Walk progamme had been conducted at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. A batch of 50 bird watchers represented from Hyderabad Birding Pals visited the Zoo in the morning at 06:00 AM . Sri. J. Muralidhar, Dy. Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad gave a warm welcome to the bird watchers and gave a brief description on the various bird species found in the Zoo premises.

The bird watchers sighted birds like Kingfisher, Owls, Drongo, Bablers, Gray Hornbill, Moorhen, Munias, Koel , Painted stork, Ibis, Egrets, Bee eaters, Common Crow, Stilts,Lapwing etc. They listed about 70 species of birds were found in the Zoo premises.
