On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka paid tribute, acknowledging his profound and immense services to the nation.

In a statement on Sunday, Bhatti Vikramarka hailed P.V. Narasimha Rao as the visionary leader who assumed office as Prime Minister during one of India’s most severe economic crises and steered the country towards prosperity through bold and transformative economic reforms. He noted that the decisions taken by PV laid the foundation for India’s emergence as one of the world’s leading economic powers today.

Bhatti Vikramarka described P.V. Narasimha Rao as a son of Telangana of whom the entire nation is proud. He recalled that during his tenure as Chief Minister of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, PV introduced landmark land reforms that brought revolutionary changes in providing land to the poor.

"PV’s initiative in establishing Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas opened the doors of quality education to talented students from rural areas. Born on the soil of Telangana, PV mastered several Indian and foreign languages and also left an indelible mark in the field of literature," he said.

Bhatti Vikramarka said that the ideals, vision, and path shown by P.V. Narasimha Rao will continue to inspire and guide future generations.
