Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday visited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he is recovering after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder. The Chief Minister met Pawan Kalyan at the hospital, enquired about his health, and wished him a speedy recovery. He also interacted with the attending doctors to understand the Deputy Chief Minister’s post-operative condition.

Pawan Kalyan had been suffering from persistent shoulder pain for several years, with the injury reportedly worsening due to old injuries sustained during film shoots and the physical strain of extensive public engagements. Despite experiencing severe discomfort, he continued to campaign vigorously for the NDA alliance during the recent Assembly elections and remained actively involved in official responsibilities.

A team of specialist doctors at Kokilaben Hospital successfully performed the surgery, which lasted around three-and-a-half hours. According to medical sources, the procedure was successful, and Pawan Kalyan is recovering under close medical supervision.

The Deputy Chief Minister had also undergone surgery recently to address a sinus-related health issue. Following his latest shoulder operation, doctors have advised him to undergo a period of rest and rehabilitation before resuming his official duties.
