Padma Shri awardee Brahmanandam said ‘after a long time, I feel satisfied that I have done a good film and a good role’ at the success meet of Brahma Anandam movie on Saturday. Brahma Anandam movie under the banner of Swadharm Entertainment was released on February 14.

The film stars Padma Shri awardee Brahmanandam and his son Raja Goutham in lead roles, with Priya Vadlamani and Aishwarya Holakkal playing key roles. Presented by Savithri and Umesh Kumar, it was produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka and directed by debutant director RVS Nikhil. The film has received positive feedback from the audience and makers celebrated the response at a success meet on Saturday.

At the event, Padma Shri awardee Brahmanandam shared, “I always want to try new roles. I choose roles with the intention of offering something fresh for the audience who admires me. After a long time, I feel satisfied that I have done a good film and a good role. There is nothing extraordinary in the film that brings the audience to the theaters, but it’s just me, Vennela Kishore, Swadharm Entertainment, and my son Raja Goutham. It makes me happy when people say, ‘You are back after a long time, that’s why the audience is coming to the theaters.’

‘I want to do roles like Ranga Marthanda rather than repeat the same kind of characters. Directors should try to present me in new ways,’ said Brahmanandam. Actor Raja Goutham said, “Everyone who watched Brahma Anandam is talking about me. My father and I used to have fun at home, but when I came on screen, it was very serious. He never put pressure on us. Instead of questioning us, he left everything to our decisions.”

Producer Rahul Yadav Nakka said, “The previous films I produced became hits due to positive word of mouth, and this film is receiving the same. So far, the shows are packed everywhere, and I hope it will continue to succeed with the support of the media.”

Director R V S Nikhil added, “Everyone is happy about Brahma Anandam. We went to the theater and watched the movie with the audience, and they were laughing at scenes we didn’t even expect. It seems that the re-releases have not had a big impact on our movie.”
