Warangal job fair offers over 1,000 jobs

More than 1,000 young job seekers from across Telangana received employment offers at Kaushal Mahotsav - Warangal 2026, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with the Telangana Government and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS).

The mega employment and skilling event attracted an overwhelming response, with over 4,500 candidates registering and more than 2,200 participating in on-the-spot recruitment drives. Over 90 leading companies conducted interviews and offered jobs across sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, logistics, textiles, retail, healthcare, IT-ITeS, telecom, tourism, hospitality and BFSI.

Officials said nearly 50 percent of candidates who attended the recruitment process received job offers. Applicants not selected during the event will continue to be considered by participating employers as part of their ongoing recruitment process.

Addressing the gathering, MSDE Director V.S. Arvind said the event demonstrated the growing demand for skilled talent and reaffirmed the government's commitment to connecting youth with quality employment opportunities.

Several prominent employers, including Prompt Personnel, ParadigmIT Technology Services, Sitaram Spinners, Royal Enfield dealerships, KAPSTON Services, Cream Stone, Jayabheri Automotives, Blink Commerce and Varun Motors, participated in the drive. Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) also facilitated more than 200 overseas job opportunities for eligible candidates. Besides recruitment, the Mahotsav created awareness about apprenticeship programmes and flagship skill development initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and Skill India Digital.
