Union Bank of India conducts mega MSME outrech camp

Union Bank of India, Regional Office, Saifabad conducted MEGA MSME OUTREACH CAMP at UNION BANK RURAL SELF EMPLOYMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE (RSETI), Swarna Bharat Campus, Muchintal, Rangareddy District, Telangana on 05th March 2025. The outreach camp is aimed to showcase the MSME products being offered by the Bank. In all 400 existing and prospective customers attended the camp. Sanction letters were handed over to more than 50 beneficiaries amounting to approximately Rs.100 Crore.

MSME sector being back bone of the country that contribute 30% of GDP and 45% of county’s manufacturing sector and generates more than 60% of employment. Union Bank has tailormade bouquet of products to suit the requirement of various sectors of MSME.  Union Bank is conducting MEGA MSME OUTRECH CAMPS at 157 centres across the nation during the week from  3rd  to 7th March 2025 and has set an ambitious target of reaching out to 300-400 people at each centre. This exercise is being done to encourage entrepreneurs to set up and scale up business that helps in employment generation, MAKE IN INDIA and boosts economy.

Mandadi Sree Lakshmi, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ragareddy district was Chief Guest on the occasion. Meeting was graced by G K Sudhakar Rao, General Manager, MSME Vertical, Central office, Mumbai and R.L.Pattanayak, General Manager from Union Bank Central Office, Mumbai, who outlined vision of Union Bank of India towards MSME that makes our nation self-reliant.

Ajay Kumar, General Manager, Zonal Office, Hyderabad explained the initiatives of the Bank in TELANGANA state. Sonalika, Deputy General Manager elaborated the schemes and reach of the bank in the area through branch network. Ravi Marem, Asst. General Manager showcased the schemes of the Bank. Jagadeesh Lepakshi, Asst. General Manager proposed a vote of thanks.
