The Union Bank of India conducted the Mega MSME outreach camp in Nacharam, Hyderabad, aligning with the Government of India's vision of a Viksit Bharat. The camp saw participation from over 300 entrepreneurs and SHG customers, with sanctions worth Rs 50 crores distributed to eligible borrowers.
The event was inaugurated by Eatala Rajender, Member of Parliament for Malkajgiri Constituency, and Bandari Lakshma Reddy, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Uppal Constituency. Eatala Rajender praised Union Bank of India's proactive efforts in facilitating access to finance for MSME entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth. He emphasized the importance of such outreach programs in empowering MSMEs, which are the backbone of the economy.
Bandari Lakshma Reddy commended the bank's commitment to supporting MSME entrepreneurs through timely financial assistance and encouraged banks to finance meritorious students pursuing higher education. The campaign showcased the bank's entrepreneur-friendly MSME products, including MSME Support (loan sanctions against CGTMSE Guarantee), Union Narishakti (special scheme for women entrepreneurs), PMMY, PMEGP, other government schemes, and financial inclusion initiatives.
The event was attended by District Industries Centre Assistant Director Raghunath, Union Bank's CGM Kare Bhaskara Rao, GM G.K. Sudhakar Rao, GM Rajib Lochan Pattanayak, Regional Head Bhaskar B., representatives from industrial associations, loan borrowers, and customers.
