Hyderabad : Senior leader of the Communist Party of India K. Narayana has expressed concern over controversies surrounding the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), stating that unethical conduct by individuals in high positions damages the sanctity of religious institutions and hurts the sentiments of crores of devotees.
He remarked that whether a leaf falls on a thorn or a thorn falls on a leaf, the damage is always to the leaf, drawing a parallel to how controversies associated with sacred institutions tarnish their purity. Narayana urged N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to take immediate steps to protect the dignity and sanctity of revered institutions like the TTD.
