The municipalities and municipal corporations in Telangana have achieved a significant milestone by crossing Rs. 1000 crore in property tax collections. This figure surpasses last year's total of Rs. 922 crore and has been reached two days before the financial year 2024-25 concludes.

Despite the upcoming holidays, municipal staff will remain available to assist taxpayers, ensuring the smooth completion of tax payments. With only two days left in the financial year, Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, Dr. T.K. Sridevi IAS, has urged citizens to clear their property tax dues promptly and avail themselves of the 90% penalty waiver introduced by the State Government.

Taxpayers can contact their bill collectors, visit municipal offices, or opt for online payment methods to settle their dues. The government emphasizes the importance of utilizing this opportunity to comply with tax regulations while benefiting from the substantial waiver.
